Contemporary Painters From Uganda And Kenya Host Exhibition

At the Fort Jesus Museum Mombasa

Coastweek-- Fort Jesus Museum Mombasa is currently hosting an Art Exhibition by top contemporary painters from Uganda and Kenya.

There are a rich and diverse artworks for sale featuring everyday African subject.

All the participating artists are very talented with many years of experience. Their artworks cater for all tastes.

They are mostly oils on canvas, colourful, rich in vibrant colours and exciting textures evoking the spirit of Africa.

Visitors will not be disappointed because of the many and diverse artworks of realism, impressionism and abstract pieces.

This exhibition is the second annual exhibition at the Fort Jesus and is the brain child of one of the artists Sohrab Tajadin.

He intends to promote artists around East Africa and beyond by exhibiting at the fort regularly.

All tourists and local visitors are welcome.
