Mombasa Motor Club (MMC) duo
of Sohanjeet Singh Puee and Adnan Din savored a scintillating
season in 2018 which saw them clinch a Kenya National Rally
Championship (KNRC) Division Two and Group S double.
Resplendent in black suits, Team Nanak received their prizes
from Kenya Motor Sports Federation (KMSF) Chairman and WRC
Safari Rally Project CEO Phineas Kimathi during the 2018 Annual
Motorsports Awards gala night held at Carnivore, Nairobi.
Adnan who was accompanied by his parents savored a hat trick
of championship wins having also won the Coast Rally
Championship with Naushad Kara.
Sohan enjoyed the company of Team Nanak Principal uncle Vicky
Singh who is also a rally driver.
Also accompanying them was Ahmed Musa who is the Team Manager
of Team Nanak.
Sohanjeet, one of the fastest rising KNRC stars from the
evergreen MMC production line had this to say:
"Winning the KNRC Group S and Division 2 championship in our
first season is an amazing feeling.
"I must say that I was overly excited to receive the
championship award at Carnivore among the KNRC greats.
"Coming into the season we were not expecting such a result
but thanks to the almighty and from the support of our families
and not to forget the team principal Vicky Singh and team
manager Ahmed Musa and of course the great guy himself my co
driver, Mr Adnan Din.
"We are now hoping to secure a sponsorship for the 2019
season and are definitely looking forward to it with all the
experience and lessons learned from 2018."
