Whitesands Against the Spread of HIV and
AIDS (WASHA) mark Worlds Aids Day - Members of WASHA,
the Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort and Spa staff arm of
peer educators are joined by the management for a group
photo shortly after a ceremony at the hotel to mark the
worlds Aids day on Saturday 1st, 2018. WASHA program
focuses on implementing HIV/AIDS prevention and care
programs at the workplace while delivering professional
counseling to individuals that is confidential.
“Trees for life” is the theme for PKF’s CSR strategy
for the next 10 years. In line with this theme, PKF
Mombasa and Malindi staff participated in the firm’s
annual CSR day on 30 November 2018 by planting 2000
trees through PKF Foundation in partnership with and at
Shimo La Tewa Medium Prison (Annex). The PKF Foundation
also donated hoes, slashers, watering cans, hose pipes
for continued upkeep of the trees and footballs to
engage the inmates in sports.
