Ramisi Send Arch Rivals Shimba Hills Packing

Coastweek -- Ramisi Secondary school football team continued with their superb performance in the FKF Kwale County League after they sent arch rivals Shimba Hills Secondary packing with 1-0 score line in a hotly contested Zone C match played at Ukunda showground.

After a barren first half Ali Dele netted the all-important goal with a death warrant two minutes after resumption to secure maximum points for Ramisi.

With the win, Ramisi Secondary have maximum six points from two matches.

Ramisi beat Eleven Stars 2-0 in their first match played at Zawama ground and host Real Junior in a mouthwatering clash scheduled for Ramisi primary this Sunday November 11.

Meanwhile Real Junior shot down  Eleven Stars 3-0 in the other Zone C match played at Real Junior ground in Ukunda.

Elsewhere, Super Matuga ‘B’ battled to a barren draw with Golini Rangers Youth in Zone B match staged at Kombani as Green Forest shared the spoils with Rising Stars with similar margin in Zone A match played at Minyenzeni Primary school ground.

In another development, Taita Taveta All Stars saw off Nacet 2-0 to move to the third position in the FKF Division Two Northern Zone League Pool A league match played at Mzimuni ground in Ukunda.

Clinton Mwashigadi broke the deadlock in the 13th minute before Boaz Mwagodi sealed victory two minutes to an hour’s mark.

With the win, Taita Taveta All Stars have dislodged Maji Bombers from the third position on the 17 team Pool A table with 50 points from 29 matches.

Kilifi All Stars are placed in second position with 54 points from 28 matches on level with table toppers Congo Boys who have a better goal difference.

Meanwhile, in the other Pool A league match played at Shanzu Teachers Training College ground, hosts Shanzu United shared 1-1 spoils with visiting Sandoki United from Kilifi.

Patrick Onesmus shot the visitors into early celebrations in the fifth minute but Sammy Mwendwa restored the parity for Shanzu United five minutes later.

At Serani Sports Ground, Congo Boyz were held to a 1-1 stalemate by resilient Mnarani United from Kilifi. After a barren first half goal merchant Anwar Abdulhakim sent Congo Boyz up while Klinsman Musambai leveled the score for the visitors.
