Chui Safari Lodge managers Geoff Mayes and Suzanne Zwager will
debut their new rally raid car at the forthcoming Naivasha Rally
The new car boasts a
4.6 litre v8 engine and has Dakar spec rally suspension !
For the past two
seasons Mayes has campaigned a modified Landrover Discovery with
a number of top 5 finishes to his name.
The new car, which
boasts state of the art suspension, racing brakes and is less
than half the weight of the previous car, should allow Mayes and
codriver Zwager to be more competitive.
The pair will debut
their new beast on the final round of the 2018 Fly SAX/ Fly-540
Kenya National Rally Raid Championship.
organized by the VCCCK motor club, will be based from the Ranch
House Bistro Restaurant on South Lake Road in Naivasha.
The raid will take
place on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th
November and will see the crews tackle over 350 kilometres of
competitive racing before the finish back at The Ranch House.
Geoff, who is a
motorsport ambassador for “Hands Off Our Elephants”, is
supported by Kingsway Tyres and Silverspread Meru Rally Team.
