The Assistant High Commissioner of India,
Mombasa made a courtesy call to H.E. Evans Achoki,
County Commissioner, Mombasa on 4thSeptember, 2018.
Managing Trustee Vinod Dattani and Trustee Amit Bhudeo
of the Indian Association has sponsored the cost of
operation at the Coast Province General Hospital for a
five-year-old girl who was diagonised with umbilical
hernia. The operation was successfully performed by Dr
Lucas. The patient mother was unable to pay the hospital
bill but the Indian Association stepped in and accept to
pay for the whole cost of the operation which was around
Sh25,000; charges including bed, drugs and theatre
charges. Her mother thanked Dr. Lucas, Dattani and
Bhudeo for saving her child’s life and commented that
God give the sponsors long live to serve the less
fortunate. Seen is Vinod Dattani with the patient.
