The Assistant High Commissioner of India, Mombasa made a courtesy call to H.E. Evans Achoki, County Commissioner, Mombasa on 4thSeptember, 2018.

 

Indian Association sponsored operation for 5 year old | Coastweek


Managing Trustee Vinod Dattani and Trustee Amit Bhudeo of the Indian Association has sponsored the cost of operation at the Coast Province General Hospital for a five-year-old girl who was diagonised with umbilical hernia. The operation was successfully performed by Dr Lucas. The patient mother was unable to pay the hospital bill but the Indian Association stepped in and accept to pay for the whole cost of the operation which was around Sh25,000; charges including bed, drugs and theatre charges. Her mother thanked Dr. Lucas, Dattani and Bhudeo for saving her child’s life and commented that God give the sponsors long live to serve the less fortunate. KAMPALA (Xinhua) -- Sets of twins pose for a group photo during Twins Festival in Kampala, capital of Uganda, Aug. 26, 2018. Twins Day is a festival for biological twins and other multiples like triplets and quads. The celebration which was held here on Sunday was aimed at recognizing talented twins with special skills in singing, dancing and to also donate to the less privileged.
