DT Dobie Highlights Importance of Genuine Spares

Coastweek--  Philipp Nevermann a trainer from Mercedes Benz Global Training in Germany visited Nairobi to conduct a course on the importance of using genuine spare parts for the repair and maintenance of vehicles.

The intensive programme for the Company’s parts and service department employees was carried out at the DT Dobie technical training centre and workshop in Lusaka Road, Nairobi.

Mr. Stephen Farrell, the Director, Aftersales said “To avoid the problems caused by using parts which do not meet the standards set by Mercedes Benz, DT Dobie offers training for staff to distinguish between non genuine parts and genuine parts”.

“Parts which are not genuine are made using sub-standard materials and production methods with no guarantee of the quality and safety that comes with a genuine part.
