LUSAKA, (Xinhua) --
Immigration authorities in Zamia have arrested
three foreigners for alleged human trafficking, a spokesperson
said on Tuesday.
Immigration Department Spokesperson, said the foreigners—two
Kenyans and one Somalian—were arrested in Lusaka, the country’s
capital, last week for suspected trafficking of six Somalians
into the country.
including three females, two males and a child aged between five
and seven years, were found at a lodge in one of the residential
areas in the city, he said.
He said the three
suspects were currently detained while the victims have been
placed under protection.
