Flood victims arrive to safety in Kilifi County, April
26, 2018. Sabaki River burst its bank following heavy
rainfall experienced throughout the country displacing
over 1000 families in the coastal region according to

US Consul General Glen Keiser presents Certificate of
Appreciation to Shaahid Sheikh. Looking on is Consul

performance as the Mombasa Warden to the US Embassy in
Nairobi, U.S. Consul General, Glen Keiser, presents
Shaahid Sheikh a Certificate of Appreciation for this
services provided to US residents living and visiting
Mombasa. As the Mombasa Warden, Shaahid Sheikh assists
the US Embassy in communicating with Americans living in
Mombasa and assisting them in emergency situations.
Young and Alive concert
that was held at Swahili pot hub Mombasa on 28th April
2018. The event involved women and youth showcasing
their wares to the public at an exhibition and later
various artists and performers graced the stage for
poetry and music filled session. The main act was the
amazing talented artist Melo Banjo, a neosoul artist who
performed live accompanied by the Bundugo jazz Band.
