The Central Bank of
Kenya quoted the local currency at 100.84 against the dollar in
the Monday trading session from 100.79 at the close of Friday
Commercial banks in
the East African nation, on the other hand, placed the shilling
at a stronger position of between 100.75 and 100.90 from 100.85
and 101.05 up in the previous session.
Against the Sterling
Pound, the shilling increased considerably to trade at 139.47
from 140.56 in the Friday session.
