Chinese phone maker OPPO said on Monday that it
plans to launch the new OPPO A83 phone into Kenyan market in
James Irungu, Public
Relations and Communication Manager at OPPO Kenya,said that the
smartphone will feature a full screen with a 720*1440 pixels
“The device also
happens to have a back and front camera with Artificial
Intelligence technology that can detect over 200 facial spots
from OPPO’s global data base,” Irungu said in a statement
released in Nairobi.
“With the A83, OPPO
will have delivered a very stylish full screen that is believed
to be placed at a friendlier price following the full screen
trend that was first spotted in the previous F series,” he said.
Irungu said that the
device will rework on the design and the front of the phone by
eliminating the finger print completely so as to dedicate as
much space as possible to the screen.
“The smartphone will
also feature the Artificial Intelligence beauty technology
feature and the facial security feature making it a totally new
device from the norm,” he added.
Irungu added that
the flexible display and design market this year is expected to
grow quickly as this technology is expected to expand further
“Our goal is to take
an early lead in the flexible display market by introducing new
products with enhanced performance and differentiated designs
this year,” he added.
OPPO said that its
company’s efforts to make revolutionary gadgets will usher
smartphone enthusiasts into an era of endless possibilities on
the mobile devices and exceptional photography experiences.
