Coastweek-- On Sunday 17th December
2017, Saturday club of Mombasa had a successful eye camp with
Mombasa Eye Hospital & Laser Centre in Tezo - Kilifi County.
The total number of patients screened
81 patients were dispensed with free
reading glasses and 62 medicines were also given to the needy at
Eleven patients were referred to the
hospital for further examination.
Seventeen patients were identified
with cataract and were sent to the hospital for eye surgery.
The activity started at 9.00am and
came to an end at 3.00pm.
Patients came from different parts of
Saturday Club Chairman Mr. Rajesh
Shukla and his wife Mrs. Falguni Shukla along with the other
club members (Mr. Ashwin, Mr. Abid Bijlani, Mr. Hemant Desai,
Mr. Sanjay Pathak, Mrs. Bharti Pathak, Mr.Kailesh Tailor and
Dhruv Shukla) were present at the campsite to observe the
