This year’s rally will be
flagged off at Sarova
Whitesands on November
23rd and finish at the same
venue on December 1st.

Coastweek -- FKF Mombasa Sub-branch peaceful and wonderfully closed its calendar of the league and tournaments and crowned Bandari Youth FC the 2017 FKF Mombasa Premier League Champions.

Bandari Youth hosted Wanderers FC at KPA Mbaraki Sports Club where they beat their rival 4-0 to complete the league having bagged in total of 89 points.

Runner-up in the league was Wananyuki FC who got 76 points followed by the watch repairers Omax FC with 65 points.

FKF Mombasa Sub-branch chairman, Juma Goshi Ally said the league which featured 18 clubs was very competitive and attractive.

Last bottom of the table teams will be relegated to FKF Mombasa Division One league.

The relegated teams are Miritini Warriors, Bamburi United and Eleven Stars.

To be promoted from FKF Mombasa Division One to FKF Mombasa Premier League next season. They are Boca Juniors (44 points) followed by Berlin FC (41) and Redemption FC (41) but with inferior goal aggregate.

To be relegated to FKF Mombasa Division Two League are Miritini Youngsters, Spartak Moons and Shikaadabu FC.

FKF Mombasa Sub-branch third tier, FKF Mombasa Division Two League closed its chapter after 19 rounds of one way league with Manchester FC crowned Champions followed by Allidina Sea Eagles and Port Reitz FC with 47, 45 and 41 points respectively.

Said Goshi, “On behalf of FKF Mombasa Sub-branch, I would like to congratulate all the winners for their deserved victories, it wasn’t an easy task but through dedication and commitment they are now reaping what they sowed.

“Plans are underway to fete our champions and we will notify you soon.”

Goshi said to all other teams, there is also next time, you gave a good challenge and contributed immensely in strengthening and making our leagues competitive not forgetting nurturing the young talents.

He also thanked their partners in administration, Kefora Mombasa for their wonderful job by taking charge of all their matches.

The sub-branch promises a better and comprehensive leagues next season.
