RwandAir Airlines Partners With Mombasa Hindu Community

Coastweek-- Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights which is celebrated each year between mid-October and mid-November on the Indian calendar.

This year, RwandAir partnered with the Hindu community in Mombasa at Sports Club for Dewali festival celebration. The lucky winner was given a RwandAir return ticket to Mumbai.

In April this year, RwandAir started 4 weekly flights to Mumbai allowing connections to other RwandAir’s destinations in Africa, Middle East and Europe via Kigali. 

This year, the airline also launched flights to Harare and started other long haul routes such as London – Gatwick and Brussels.

Lately RwandAir opened a new route of Dakar thus taking its ever growing network to twenty four (24) destinations.

The new destination of Dakar is served from the RwandAir’s second hub in Cotonou, Benin along with Libreville, Brazzaville, Abidjan, and Douala.

Next year, RwandAir plans to launch more routes in Africa such Conakry, Bamako, Cape Town, Yaoundé, Abuja but also in Asia such as Guangzhou and in the USA like in New York.

The airline also plans further grow its fleet to allow the planned network expansion.

RwandAir is an IATA member airline and IOSA, ISAGO and EASA certified.

RwandAir operates three flights from Mombasa to Kigali, and passengers can connect to other 23 destinations reached out by the airline.

RwandAir has a package for all passengers traveling from Mombasa to Mumbai.

They are eligible to a free entry visa, free hotel accommodation and they are also treated to a city tour in Kigali, the cleanness, greenest and safest city of the continent.

This treatment is also given to all passengers from Mombasa transiting in Kigali for a minimum of 8 hours as a compliment of RwandAir.
