BUJUMBURA Burundi (Xinhua) -- An oil tanker truck exploded on Tuesday in Burundi’s Karusi province, central Burundi, injuring at least 50 people, the Burundian police said Wednesday.

Burundian Police Spokesman Pierre Nkurikiye said the fuel tanker truck overturned at about 1 p.m. and then exploded when residents came to recover the fuel spilled on the ground .
