A very successful cards tournament (Rummy) took place at Mombasa Sports Club on Sunday 17th September. 52 participants competed for the 5 round and 3 overall prizes. A fun filled day with full lunch and prizes. The club plans to hold many more such events in the future. Overall winner Sadhna Shah receiving her prize from MSC chairperson Sheetal Devani as Alpesh.Khimji the organiser looks on.

Shanzu Law Courts | Coastweek

Moti Mwanza Kondo appeared at the Shanzu Law Courts after he was arrested by security officers led by Major Mganda Antony from KPLC Mombasa. He pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawfully connecting electrical energy to a borehole for the Kenya Ports Authority Pension scheme at Nyali’s Harambee Estate without the consent of the Kenya Power and Lighting Company. Kondo was fined Sh.100,000 or two years imprisonment.
