Kenyan winners at 1st African Women in Tourism Award | Coastweek

Coastweek-- Kenyan women scoop 21 out of the top 100 spots women during the 1st African Women in Tourism Award and conference held in Lagos at AKWAABA on 12th September, 2017. Kenyan women in Tourism won 21 slots which was the largest number on the continent. The women recognized at the award ceremony came from across the continent.  Award winner Rosemary Mugambi said Africa ... “who can tell our story better than us.” Seen above are the Kenyan women who representes our nation at AKWAABA - Managing Director Travel at Carlson Wagonlit Kenya Julie Dabaly Scott, Vickie Mue Muyanga, Regional Director of Sales - East and Central Africa at Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Rosemary Mugambi, 1st African female Dreamliner pilot Captain Koki Mutunga,  Farzana Dhanji, Florence Njau, Charity Githinji and others with Ikechi Uko the Organiser at Akwaaba African Travel Market. They were dressed by designer Patricia Mbela.
