The hotel was first built in 1922
designed by then world famous architect, Walter Reid and
has been renovated at various stages over the years.
In 1971, an additional wing, the
Polana Mar was added.
Serena Hotels carried out a
refurbishment and upgrade of the main building in 1999 –
2000 and has now just completed a renovation of the
Polana Mar wing which has 66 rooms spread over 3 floors
with different room types – Prime, Executive and family
