The British High Commissioner to Kenya, Nic
Hailey, will formally launch a new Coastal Chapter of the
British Chamber of Commerce Kenya (BCCK) on Tuesday 24th January
The launch will enable the Chamber to
represent, support and advocate on behalf of British businesses
at the Coast; providing a further platform to foster
partnerships, share innovation and contribute to the prosperity
of the region.
The British Chamber of Commerce promotes trade links between
Kenya and Great Britain.
It represents a range of businesses from FTSE 100 companies
to individual consultants across the full range of sectors.
It currently has around 200 members, until now mostly based
out of Nairobi.
In addition to the British High Commissioner, the event will
feature contributions from the Chairman of the British Chamber,
Mr. Graham Shaw; and Cabinet Secretary for Ministry of
Industrialisation and International Trade Hon. Adan Mohamed.
