Grand Musical Night to Celebrate ‘Eid-ul-Adha’ Festival

Coastweek-- To commemorate the forthcoming Eid-ul-Adha festival, a variety musical performance of light Indian music has been scheduled for Saturday 17th September 2016 at the Little Theatre Club, reports Shaahid Sheikh, the promoter of the event.

The purpose of this programme is to present cultural entertainment for the lovers of Indian Music and ghazals to be sung by a prominent local artist, Azhar Mughal.

The sole purpose of this programme is to provide an evening of variety entertainment and enjoyment.  It is imperative that the cost of arranging such an evening should be recovered.

For this purpose alone a nominal fee has been fixed to cover the various expenses.

Azhar Mughal is an accomplished artist and a well known singer who has performed successfully in Mombasa, Nairobi and various other parts of Kenya.

Joining to perform with him is Ustad Khadim Hussain, tabla maestro, and Altaf Phatan who plays the santoor.

Mombasa’s famous ghazal singer Hasnain Molu will give a couple of items as a guest singer.

As Little Theatre Club can only accommodate a small number, music lovers are requested to book in advance.
